  We came upon this place by chance and it turned out to be the highlight of my day. Great ice cream. As other reviewers pointed out, the ice cream is made from scratch with very few core ingredients and none of the additives found in more mainstream offerings. The owner was very friendly and shared his techniques when I picked his brain - a true artist and ice cream purist. I found the fruit flavors most impressive - local blackberry, strawberry, lemon lavender and surprisingly - Alphonso mango (not the Canned stuff - the owner get crates shipped directly). The owner clearly goes to great lengths to source his ingredients. The freshness of the fruit really comes thru without being jammy and without being overwhelmed by the cream & egg base.

  I had the chocolate nut fudge and loved it. While we were standing out front enjoying our ice cream the owner came out and gave our two kids a package of taffy each! So nice!
